He’s not an idol, so he hasn’t the same rules applied.

He has spoken and explained, he can’t do anything else since they don’t have the same rules and society sees the differently. Is not because he’s a male, is because he’s an idol. If it had been a Johnny or a D-Boy, probably it would been different.

It’s not his fault AKB’s rules are like this.

This Miichan scandal just got out of proportion.

Honestly.

I remember how much Uchi regretted his underage drinking, and the consequences it brought him and his groups. I will always remember how some fans who came afterwards demoted him and despised him, probably they helped to close him the doors to his groups forever.

I remember watching him crying after he became a Junior allowed to perform in public again, appologizing once more for something he’d done foolishly. It hurt a lot, because when someone has understood he’d done a mistake, it should be enough with a punishment, why people have to keep reminding him he did wrong once he’s done with it?

I remember that he went back to trainee and worked hard to come back, yet, he’s just a Junior now, and most of his past fans turned their backs on him and new people are mostly not interested in supporting a fallen idol who’s rehabilitated. It’s sad.

But you know what?

Is because he still has fans who supported him all the way through, even when we acknowledged he did wrong, that he keeps going on.

When you see Miichan cry and accept her punishment, if you still believe she’s been through enough punishment, let her know.

Find the way to communicate that to her because if she’s allowed to still receive fan-mail I am sure she’ll be comforted to see there’s still people who’s willing to back her up.

Idols are idols because they want to be idolized, otherwise they would just become simple entertainers, artists or singers, dancers, whatever they trully want to do. And yes, they are supposed to be role models, but inside, they’re also human, so when they fail to do that, it’s enough to make her notice she’s been wrong, as human beings we should be able to tend our hands and give her a second chance.

She’s back to Kenkyuusei status, and probably her days from now on will be really tough. Doing that is worse than just graduating, it’s harder to start a-fresh when you get demoted just like that, so I hope those who say they’re done with the fandom, take a moment to consider that perhaps what this fandom needs is people to stan up for idols who’ve been punished and show the rest that keep on blaming the idol won’t solve anything and will only cause more harm.

Those who’re able to attend AKB’s stages, from now on, it will mean a lot whether they choose to accompany Miichan or not on her journey.

We don’t know if AKB’s management is going to make her be a kenkyuusei forever, for long, or for less than a few months, but anyway, if you’re a real fan, support is what the girl is going to need.

Is not like ‘OK, don’t worry, it’s fine’ because she agreed on those rules, but more a ‘OK, let’s start again, we got your back’ thing.

For idols, fans words can become the best way to get encouraged, so I hope Miichan still has some people who’re willing to let her know they support her, no matter what.

A lot of the Japanese LDH fans on twitter seem to be supporting Alan and minegishi, they’re just upset this had to turn into a scandal.

Do you remember the scandal about Itano Tomomi and Takahiro? It was reported by the same magasine but I don’t remember anything happening to Tomomi, at least not to the extent of what Minegishi is getting right now.

How they’ve treated a main AKB member, someone who’s been there since the beginning is ridiculous. Demoting her to something that’s basically not an official member of AKB. If they did that I hope her and Alan will stay together if they actually are together.

All these fan wars between AKB and LDH is getting tiring.

I’m glad they’re supporting both of them. Yeah I, too, can’t believe that this was made into a scandal. It’s hardly harmless and there were no clear photos to support the magazine’s article yet look what it turned into :|

I don’t get it either. It’s suspicious, and if it was for publicity: why demote her to kenkyuusei? She’s in the middle of No3b’s promos and she just got demoted (and provably removed from the sub-unit as well). If you watch her video, it’s heartbreaking to see how appaled she is right now.

Alan isn’t an idol, so he’ll be fine, as long as those wotas won’t try to sabotage him or the group.

Before anyone asks me

I agree with punishments for idols who break the rules, because this is how it is, and because others had been punished, why would you be different?
But I also disagree on the huge pressure some people put on idols. I mean, ok, they are supposed to behave and be role models and all, but one punishment is enough, they shouldn’t be that much despised, some people are honestly ill.
I watched a lot of idols from different agencies get punished. I think this case reminds me a lot Uchi’s, because of the demote thing, but the scandals are different.
Other AKB girls had gone through similar scandals and graduated. One was transferred, and others claimed they weren’t bf or nothing happened, so their punishments didn’t go as far as being that much demoted (kenkyuusei for a first generation member is a big word)
My senpai says she’s a fan of her shaved-hair, because that takes a lot of courage, she just ruined her image, even if Miichan wasn’t a beauty among the other members, her hair was one of the things that made her look cute. I just think the shaving is a result of how much pressured she feels so she has to show everyone else she’s repenting.
For Alan it will be different but because he’s not an idol. Otherwise, I guess he’d been punished somehow. Johnny’s don’t get that much harmed for having gf’s but they do get pressured to break up their relationships.
The news shock me even when I am used to this. Is the way it’s happened, I don’t even remember W’s Ai Kago being that much punished for underage smoking (and she indeed was). By the way Miichan speaks and cry you would say she feels like she’s killed someone.
I still believe those reporters were dying to catch them just now, at the right moment, when both groups are promoting. That makes me despise them even more. They’re as ill as all those wotas who claimed Alan should be seriously hurt.

come’on! On the last year we’d got so many scandals involving popular members, so they could just be transferred, graduate or go away. This looks like a master-plan to get rid of the older generations and push up new faces into the group.

All these scandals were there for a while, weren’t those? I mean it’s a casuality that suddenly everything starts to pop up into the surface? How come others get just transferred or punished in a different way and Miichan gets suddenly demoted to kenkyuusei?
